Ferrari Elettrica Coming Soon to Ferrari of Denver

Ferrari doesn't build "trend cars." When something new comes out of Maranello, it's because it has earned the Prancing Horse badge with a design and feel that are unmistakably Ferrari. Whether it's on the road, at speed on a track, or simply being admired in your garage, every Ferrari embodies all the intangibles that separate a great machine from a legendary one.

That context matters for the Ferrari Elettrica, the first fully electric Ferrari in the brand's history. Conceived as a true performance car from the outset, the Elettrica is not intended to replace internal combustion or hybrid Ferrari models. Instead, it expands the lineup, adding a new expression of performance.

Ferrari is revealing the Elettrica in stages, with additional design and interior details set to follow ahead of its world premiere. For those interested in staying informed as the picture becomes clearer, Ferrari of Denver can provide updates and guidance as new information becomes available.

A Milestone in Ferrari Multi-Energy Strategy

The Ferrari Elettrica represents a major milestone in the brand's long-term multi-energy approach. Internal combustion engines, hybrids, and now a fully electric powertrain all coexist within the same vision, guided by the automaker's renowned "performance-first" principle.

Electrification is not new territory for Ferrari. The brand's expertise traces back to Formula 1 hybrid systems and continues through landmark road cars like LaFerrari, SF90 Stradale, and the 296 GTB. Before applying that experience to a fully electric platform, Ferrari had to verify that the technology was capable of delivering the driving pleasure expected of the Prancing Horse badge. With the all-new Ferrari Elettrica, that day is finally here. Developed with more than 60 proprietary patented solutions, it represents a ground-up approach rather than an adaptation of existing architectures.

Beautifully Sculpted Details

The exterior design is low, wide, and futuristic. Every detail is meant to increase aerodynamics, with design elements inspired by previous Ferrari models. Dihedral doors keep a narrow profile while exuding fighter-jet appeal. Everything about the Ferrari F80 is designed to put driving first and allow the driver to enjoy the incredible thrill of the powerhouse performance that makes the new supercar an instant legend.

Active Suspension and Vehicle Control

Building on technology first seen in the Ferrari Purosangue and refined for the Ferrari F80, the Ferrari Elettrica introduces the third generation of the automaker's 48-volt active suspension system. Rather than relying solely on passive springs and dampers, the active suspension uses electric actuators at each wheel to actively control how the body responds to the road. The system can counteract body roll in corners, limit pitch during acceleration and braking, and smooth out sharp impacts from uneven pavement-all in real time.

Each wheel operates independently, allowing the suspension to adapt instantly to changing conditions. Whether the car is cornering hard, cruising at highway speeds, or navigating uneven pavement, the system continuously adjusts to keep the tires planted and the body stable. The system works in constant coordination with the torque vectoring, all-wheel drive, and steering systems, monitoring vehicle dynamics hundreds of times per second. The result is a driving experience that feels both precise and intuitive.

Sound, Engagement, and Driver Interaction

Rather than imitating an internal combustion engine, Ferrari chose to highlight the authentic mechanical character of the electric drivetrain. Vibrations generated by the powertrain are captured by high-precision sensors and amplified only when such feedback can enhance driver engagement without compromising everyday comfort.

Five selectable levels of torque delivery, accessed via the right-hand paddle, allow drivers to experience progressively stronger acceleration across a wide speed range. Regenerative braking intensity is controlled via the left-hand paddle, replicating the sensation of engine braking in a way that feels natural and intuitive.

Performance Targets and Specifications

Final homologation details are still pending and will be confirmed closer to launch. However, Ferrari has already outlined key performance targets:

  • Zero to 62 mph in approximately 2.5 seconds
  • Top speed of 193 mph
  • Peak output exceeding 980 horsepower in boost mode
  • Estimated potential driving range of more than 330 miles
  • 47/53 weight distribution

A New Expression of Ferrari Performance

The Ferrari Elettrica isn't a redefinition of the Ferrari brand; it's an extension. Every major system, from the chassis and motors to the battery and control software, has been crafted with the same focus on precision and driver enjoyment that defines the automaker's most celebrated models. As additional details continue to emerge, Ferrari of Denver is proud to be a resource for those interested in learning more about this exhilarating new model.
