Ferrari of Denver is pleased to offer this stunning and rare 2009 Scuderia Spider 16M, finished in Rosso Corsa over Alcantara Nera interior. One of just 499 examples produced worldwide over a single model year run, the 16M is the convertible version of Ferraris iconic 430 Scuderia, built to celebrate the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 teams 16th Formula One Constructors Championship. The 16M marks the first time Ferrari offered a convertible version of their light weight, performance-focused special variant cars. When the 16M debuted in 2009, it was the fastest open-top Ferrari ever around Ferraris Fiorano test track in Maranello. Thanks to extensive use of carbon fiber and other weight saving measures, the 16M is over 200 pounds lighter than the standard F430 Spider. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 4.3L V8, producing 503 HP at an astounding 8,500 RPM. This provides sufficient thrust to get the 16M from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 196 MPH.??The 16M were currently offering, chassis 167100, is a stunning example of the model. Finished in Ferraris iconic Rosso Corsa DS 322 paintwork, complimented by the racing livery in Nero DS and Argento Nurburgring and brake calipers finished in Giallo Modena, this 16M is presented in what many would consider to be the peak collectors specification. Delivered to its first owner in Florida in April 2009, this 16M has been lovingly cared for, changing hands twice in Florida between 2009 and 2012, then spending the majority of its life in a private collection in the Midwest. Paint protection film has been fitted to every panel of the bodywork, and a major service was completed by an authorized Ferrari service center in 2025. Furthering this 16Ms pedigree, our dealership has obtained Ferrari Classiche certification, giving the next custodian not only peace of mind that the car remains as it left the factory in 2009, but also boosting the collectability of this particular example.
