Customer Appreciation Day September 2006

Our third annual Customer Appreciation Day was great. We got the Colorado State Patrol Academy track in Golden, & everyone who attended found the track fast, challenging and well worth their day. In fact, almost everyone commented that this obscure little track was the best fun they've had. We also invited CSP driving instructors Sgt Dean Paxton and Technician Mike Harris; they arrived with a stock CSP Crown Vic & a CSP Harley-Davidson, then proceeded to run down every car there... a very eye-opening experience for all of us. They are great diplomats for the State Patrol, and guess what? They're gearheads just like all of us. No incidents, no accidents, and only a couple harmless spins. Lots of Elise and a couple Exige, Brian brought his Ford GT (and left his 430 at home... what's with that?). Doug Walsh brought his track-prepared Viper and instructed all day. Michael Pettiford brought a couple fast Corvettes and also did some fast instructing. Bill Orth brought his amazing 360. That's Derek in his R32, and John Yueh in his white 911. Mike Parmakian drove the black Elise and did some fast instructing in a dozen owners' Elise/Exige as well. And thanks to our own Brandi, the chief organizer for the entire day. Turnout was good despite scheduling conflicts with a couple of other Ferrari and Vintage events in-state. Absent anything local opening in the next year, this track will probably be our location again next year. We’ve received lots of thanks from the participants, and a few RSVPs for next year already in. It's what we do for our special clients.
