Bill Stewart - The founder of Ferrari of Denver, 35+ years and counting!
E-mail Bill

Bill has always had a passion for exotic cars, especially Rolls Royce, Bentley and Ferrari. One of his first jobs as an adult was working as a Rolls Royce mechanic. He moved to Denver in 1969 to work for Kumpf Motors, the Rolls Royce dealer at the time. He started his own service business in 1974, focusing on everything exotic. His first factory service franchise was Rolls Royce. The Rolls Royce franchise grew into a successful sales operation and in 1979 he acquired Maserati, Lotus and then the Alfa Romeo franchise, since he has added Ferrari and Bentley to this world class lineup. He built a new dealership at 1480 East County Line Road in Highlands Ranch, Colorado and moved into his first class facility in December 2001. Bill has been fortunate to have many loyal staff members train with him and remain with him for years, even several decades and it’s because he runs a great shop with a heart for excellent service. Bill is extremely dedicated to making his entire team feel that they are each the most important member of the team. He never uses the word “no.” Family life for Bill includes two kids and two grandkids. He loves taking them all for rides in his fun cars!

They have 3 great children: Ann (25) recently engaged has a Masters Degree in Education and is teaching in a local School District, Flinn (22) is currently studying Geoscience at Denison University and is a lacrosse coach with 3D Lacrosse, and Wilkins (17) an elite lacrosse atttackman, ranked 17th nationally recently made a early commitment as a Sophomore to attend Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore Maryland. Mark spent the majority of his impressionable years on the Continental Divide. Many of his years were spent on the ski hill or thinking about it. Skiing continues to be one of his passions. Mark began his career in the automotive industry here in Denver 18 years ago. He has enjoyed the benefits of working for such manufacturers as Porsche, Jaguar, and Volvo. Mark recently attended the World Class Driving School and was instructed by the famous Belgian driver, Didier Theys, in six of the world’s most exotic Supercars. Didier pushed Mark to go considerably faster than he should ever have been allowed! While working with Porsche, Mark took instruction at the Porsche Driving Experience on two occasions to hone his skills behind the wheel. He had the thrill of winding up a Porsche 997 Twin Turbo to 178 mph on the Gran Prix Autodromo Fernanda Pires da Silva track in Estoril Portugal; if his wife finds out, he's dead. Mark has owned and had great experiences with European cars. He took the store over 2 years ago and made a few necessary changes. Some changes included a few new faces in our sales department, AWESOME inventory, a fresh new attitude, and a rejuvenated energy throughout the entire dealership. Mark attributes his success to building long term relationships, honesty and ignoring the current economic marketplace. He has been able to increase business exponentially even in the toughest economic times our industry has ever seen. Over the last 12 months he has visited the Ferrari, Maserati and Bentley factory facilities on many occasions in order to ensure great working relationships with our partners overseas. Please introduce yourself to Mark; he is always open to hearing new ideas, questions, comments and concerns.
